Dinnerware
We have lost count
of the number of dinnerware sets we have made over the years. From four
place settings to twelve, our dinnerware is in service all around the
United States and in half a dozen other countries. We enjoy making it,
and we are pleased by the enjoyment it gives to others.
Most people visit
our studio to discuss with us their dinnerware needs and preferences.
We often have dinnerware in stock, and it always seems to find a happy
home. Usually within six weeks of receiving an order we find ourselves
taking the finished pieces out of the kiln.
Generally, a place
setting consists of a dinner plate, salad plate, soup plate, and mug.
Frequently people will add tumblers, goblets, dessert plates, individual
pasta bowls, and other items. As every piece is individually hand thrown,
we are happy to accommodate requests for nonstandard sizes, such as
extra large dinner plates or bowls. Nearly everyone adds serving pieces,
which can include platters, au gratins, serving bowls, and the like.
For pricing please see the stoneware catalog page. We ask for a deposit
of 50% at the time the order is placed.
Most people choose
dinnerware in our white or rust glazes, but several other glazes and
combinations are available. Please call or e-mail if you have questions.
